Runway Swagg

People always telling me I have my own sense of style but the thing is I just seem different cuz everybody wears street clothes but I dress according to the colors, textures, and style that designers are putting on the runway. Like for this fall it's all about layers, big trousers, velvet, furs, capes/ponchos, big and wide legged pants, patchwork, and camel. There's a lot more but I'll speak about it as I wear it. It's fashion, it will never make sense!



Test Shoot

Sometimes I think I'm extremely lucky cuz even when everything starts out going wrong it always comes together and those are the experiences I love and appreciate the most. I went to do this test shoot for Sylivia's via BHF and at first there was no stylist, no make-up people, and no hair dresser so I literally had to start shooting in the tank & jeans I had on with the up-do I was rockin straight from school. Eventually I got my make-up done and got some clothes but since it was a test shoot there was no one for hair. But I still got some great shots out of it. As always, these pics are behind the scenes shots I took witt my own low-quality ragedy ann camera:( I'm gonna try to get a good deal on a proffesional camera on Black Friday. The photographer called my camera "a point and shoot" cuz there's no focus/adjustement, nothing you jus click the button.lol

The photographer is amazing...can't wait to show ya'll the pics he took.

The 4th Ward Studio where I had the shoot was so cool, there were paintings on every wall and the decor was very modern.

I really do love modeling. getting my hair and make-up done and having stylists to dress me. I can't think of anything else I'd rather do. For this shoot the theme was " Modern/Afro-Centric "

Guinean Independence Day: Hope For Guinea event

Oct 2nd is Guinean Independence day and of course if you read this blog you should know I'm from Guinea because I'm Miss Guinea North America. Even though the other day I told someone I was from Guinea and they asked me if I was Ethiopian -_- yeahhhhh.lol Anyways on Saturday I went to this Hope For Guinea Foundation charity event that also celebrated Guinean independence. It was a lot of fun and I really learned alot about my country. I know alot of poeple don't know about Guinea cause we really aren't doing much in the world cause it's so corrupt because of the government but we have so many natural resources to offer to the world we just need the right people to run the country and develop it into the great nation I know it has the potential to become.
