Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows-Part 2

The trailer for Part 2 of the Harry Potter finale has been released, I am super sad and excited at the same time. I love Harry Potter and in preparation for the final film I have been reading the whole series....again. These days if you see me at school or home I have my head in a Harry Potter book. It's funny because I hate watching the same movie or reading the same book twice but with Harry Potter I discover something new, a clue or whatever each time I read it. Anyways here is the trailer. The part where Harry pulls Voldemort down with him always makes my heart stop. Damn, I can't believe after all these years it's finally coming to an end, the movies I mean cause I already know what happens from reading but it's not the same imagining as it is actually seeing it.

The Royal Wedding

I swore for the longest time that I didn't care about the royal wedding but what can I say, I'm a hopeless romantic. That Kate Middleton is one lucky girl, I am extremely jealous....I want a prince! Her Sara Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding gown was gorgeous. I love simple, elegant wedding dresses. I always envisioned myself in a lace detailed mermaid style off-white gown. Till the day I find my prince, I shall dream...

African Print.

African print is a huge trend these days, I absolutely love it. Don't be surprised if I post outfits of me wearing my African clothes. I really need to get my collection up to date with all the hip new styles coming out!

Oven Fried Chicken with Rice & Veggie Stir Fry.

Well so much for me trying to be healthy, who am I kidding...I DON'T eat healthy. For dinner tonight I contemplated for hours whether or not I should order some takeout from Kenny's Chinese restaurant before deciding I could defrost the wings in the freezer and cook them instead. I really really genuinely love cooking. I don't do it that often thought because I am lazy beyond anything you could possibly imagine. That's my biggest flaw, I have so much drive but I lack motivation to actually do anything amazing. sigh, I'm working on it. But how did I get from talking about chicken to my flaws? lol Anyways, I made oven-fried chicken (first I cook it in the oven, then I deep fry it) I tend to always oven fry the chicken if its floured simply because whenever I try to make fried chicken straight on the stove, the inside is usually undercooked so I avoid this by baking it first till it's fully cooked then coating it with flour and frying it. I decided I was gonna make my own "Chinese takeout" style meal so I made the typical vegetable fried rice. The whole thing was so delicious, I was quite pleased with myself. Now that I know their recipe, I won't be ordering Chinese for a while.

I have this sort of obsession with photos of beautiful naked women *pause* 

This is from an artistic perspective not in a gay/lesbian way, I just think the female body is one of the greatest creations on this earth. I have been dying for a dope Tee of a naked woman for the summer and today I came across this line called

Air Jordan 7 Bordeaux

Copped the Bordeaux 7's last Saturday. I'm lucky I got them that day cause many stores told me they had less than 20 pairs total. I literally went to the mall at 9pm looking for them, which I should know better because any true sneaker fan knows that these babies would be sold out within hours. The funniest part of it all was when I went to Finish Line to see if they had a pair, walked in with a pouty face ready to be disappointed  and asked "You guys don't have any more of the 7's left do you?" the man said "oh hell nah" lmaooo.. I went to 3 different malls to find them and finally when I was just about to give-up I got the last pair at Shoe City at Wheaton Mall. That made my day.

I love the color scheme of this shoe. The burgendy against the graphite grey is beautiful, I think it's a bit feminie compared to other 7's and I like that.

Fifi's Bday.

The other day I attended my sister Queen, Fifi's birthday dinner. I had a lot of fun although I spent so much time being the photographer I didn't really get many photos of myself even though y'all know I LOVE taking pictures.lol

Domestic Violence Wears Many Tags is one of the organizations I work with as Miss Guinea NA so the other day I attended one of their meetings. As I'm sure most people don't know, April is National Sexual Assault Awareness month.

Quick Facts:

 Every 2 mins someone in the US is sexually assaulted

    60% of assaults are not reported to the police

15/16 rapists will never spend a day in jail

            About 2/3 assaults are committed by someone the victim knows

The event was a success, I got to speak to the people and share my views on domestic violence in Guinea. The founder of DVWMT, Queen Afi showered us with knowledge about sexual abuse and we even had the kids involved, informing them about the the dangers of sexual behavior, what is considered appropriate and inappropriate contact and what is statutory rape. There was a special guest "Beautiful Believer" who shared her amazing story with us and delivered a powerful spoken word monologue. Here are a few photos form the event.

Chevys.

Went out to eat at Chevys in College Park with a friend on Sunday. For those who don't know what that is, it's a Mexican Restaurant (not like Chipotle) they have a wide variety of authentic Mexican dishes from

 * Hispanic accent* Tamales to Enchiladas. lol. It was delicious and I think they have the best guacamole I've ever had. The portions were kinda small tho, I'm a fatty so I wasn't really all that full. We were in a rush so we didn't get appetizers but next time I definitely will cause that is the only way I will really be full. lol.

P.S. I didn't have my camera again so I used my iPhone but my cousin brought it for me yesterday so I will be back in action.

Basically made this video about all the annoying things I witness on Facebook, it's a bit long. Sorry.

Spring Collection.

First off, my whole spring and summer collection of clothing consists of these fitted, curve hugging dresses and a lot of white.
Now, I spent the whole day being harassed by random females mumbling under their breath about my outfit, frankly I felt comfortable with what I was wearing and no one was bold enough to actually approach me and say anything so it's all good. Like I always say "females will hate on anything." When men notice or compliment you, that's nothing but if another female is eyeing you...you're killin'em.lol I don't feel that my dress was short at all (I mean its hot outside, I'm not bout to cover up) and with my blazer on top, the outfit was pretty classy. I love the whole sailor look and I felt that my navy blue stripped dress hugged my "baby curves" perfectly and the red blazer was a great compliment. I wore my favorite white wedges, they are my most comfortable pair of heels. I love wearing heels and now that it's spring/summer time I will be wearing a pair like everyday. I'm already like 5'9 and with my heels I'm a walking amazon woman, standing at around 6'2 depending on the heel. lol Anyways, I'm rapping...PK took some photos of me with his new lens and I think they turned out great!

Stokes Ethical Leadership Conference.

Went to this leadership conference and  then a Gala dinner for my pageant the other day. It was inspirational as a young leader to learn about the ethical issues facing society and how important it is for humanity to have a social contract so that ethical policies are universal. Stokes is an organization that has been helping communities all over the world for over a century.

Polo Rain Boots.

I have always thought that rain boots were tacky, I'm sorry. I understand the purpose and they are quite useful  but I didn't like them on me, or any person over the age of 6. They look so cute on little kids but I didn't feel like there was anything in my closet that would go with rain boots and its not like I can take them off when I get out the rain-___- But the other day I found these babies, a pair of bright pink and green polo rain boots....can you say SWAGG? lol. I thought they were so cute and although they match NOTHING in my closet I bought them because its spring and it has been raining like crazy. I realized I can really only pull them off wearing all black but it works.
